You can legally watch all 380 Premier League matches in Singapore in two ways this season: StarHub’s Premier+ (on the StarHub TV+ app or set-top box) or Premier League+ (PL+), the league’s own streaming app, which launched here on 12 August 2026. Prices start at $16 for a 24-hour PL+ pass. Existing StarHub customers pay the least, from $238 for the whole season. Neither option needs a cable TV contract.
The 2026/27 season is the first in which Singapore fans can buy Premier League football directly from the league. That gives you more choice, but it also makes the pricing harder to read. Some plans are cheaper only if you already pay StarHub for mobile or broadband, and one pass doesn’t work on a TV at all.
This guide breaks down who shows the matches, what each plan really costs over a season, which devices work, and how to convert UK kick-off times to Singapore time. If you’re new to the competition itself, start with How Does the Premier League Work?.
Where Can You Watch Premier League in Singapore?
StarHub holds the Premier League broadcasting rights in Singapore, so every legal live stream runs through StarHub or through Premier League+, which the league built in partnership with StarHub. Both carry all 380 league matches live.
| Option | What It Is | How You Watch | Who It Suits |
| StarHub Premier+ | StarHub’s Premier League package, sold monthly or as a 12-month pass | StarHub TV+ app, smart TV app or StarHub set-top box | StarHub mobile or broadband customers, families watching on the big screen |
| Premier League+ (PL+) | The league’s own direct-to-fan streaming service | PL+ app and website on phones, laptops and connected TVs | Fans who want no telco relationship, or only watch now and then |
| Singtel TV (cross-carriage) | StarHub’s Premier League content carried on Singtel’s platform under Singapore’s cross-carriage rules | Singtel TV | Existing Singtel TV households who don’t want to switch |
Broadcaster vs streaming app: what's the difference?
A broadcaster like StarHub buys the rights and packages matches alongside its other channels. A direct-to-fan app like PL+ sells the league straight to you, with extras such as multi-camera angles, live data overlays and club hubs.
The two overlap more than most people expect. StarHub states that a Premier+ subscription includes access to the PL+ service for 2026/27, so StarHub subscribers don’t need to pay twice.
Premier+ is not Sports+
This is the most common mix-up. StarHub’s Sports+ pass covers other sports and competitions. It does not include Premier League matches. For the Premier League on StarHub, you need Premier+, or a bundle that contains it.
Premier League Subscription Prices in Singapore
The cheapest full-season option is StarHub’s Premier+ Annual Pass at $238, but only if you already have an eligible StarHub service. Without one, expect to pay $380 to $399 for the season, or $16 per day if you watch rarely.
| Plan | Price | Contract | Devices |
| PL+ 24-hour pass | $16 | None | Phone and laptop only |
| PL+ monthly pass | $44/month | None, cancel anytime | Phone, laptop, connected TV |
| PL+ annual pass | $399/year | 12 months prepaid | Phone, laptop, connected TV |
| StarHub Premier+ monthly (StarHub customers) | $25.46/month | No lock-in | StarHub TV+ app and box |
| StarHub Premier+ monthly (non-customers) | $40.74/month | No lock-in | StarHub TV+ app and box |
| StarHub Premier+ Annual Pass (StarHub customers) | $238 one-off | 12 months prepaid | StarHub TV+ app and box |
| StarHub Premier+ Annual Pass (non-customers) | $380 one-off | 12 months prepaid | StarHub TV+ app and box |
| StarHub UltraSports bundle | $91/month | Check current terms | StarHub TV+ app and box |
Prices are advertised rates as of October 2026 and may change with promotions. Always confirm the final price on the provider’s page before paying.
StarHub Premier+ Monthly and Annual Plans
StarHub prices depend on whether you’re already a customer. If you pay StarHub at least $15 a month for mobile or broadband, you qualify for the “StarHub Exclusive Price”. That brings the annual pass down from $380 to $238, a saving of $142.
For example, if you already use a StarHub SIM-only plan, you pay $238 for the whole season. That is $161 cheaper than a PL+ annual pass. But only switch to StarHub for this price if your new plan costs the same as, or less than, what you pay now.
Premier League+ Daily, Monthly and Annual Passes
PL+ prices are the same for everyone, with no telco account needed. The trade-off is that they cost more than StarHub’s customer rates. The 24-hour pass is the most flexible option on the market, but it only works on phones and laptops, so you can’t cast a $16 day pass to your TV.
Which Subscription Offers Better Value?
It depends on how often you watch. The table below estimates the cost of a full season, assuming roughly 10 months from late August to late May.
| Your Viewing Habit | PL+ 24-Hour Passes | PL+ Monthly | PL+ Annual | StarHub Annual (Customer) | StarHub Annual (Non-Customer) |
| One big match a month (10 days) | $160 | $440 | $399 | $238 | $380 |
| Two match days a month (20 days) | $320 | $440 | $399 | $238 | $380 |
| Every weekend (about 38 match days) | $608 | $440 | $399 | $238 | $380 |
Two rules of thumb fall out of this:
- The 24-hour pass stops making sense at three match days a month. Three passes ($48) already cost more than a PL+ monthly pass ($44).
- If you have any StarHub service, the $238 annual pass wins for anyone who watches more than 15 match days a season.
How to Stream Premier League Without Cable TV
You don’t need a cable box or a fixed-line TV contract for either service. Both run as apps over your internet connection.
Premier League+ in five steps
- Download the PL+ app on your phone, tablet or connected TV, or open the PL+ website on a laptop.
- Create an account with your email address.
- Pick a pass: 24-hour, monthly or annual.
- Pay by card. Your access starts straight away.
- Open the match from the live schedule. Replays and highlights sit under on-demand content.
StarHub Premier+ without a set-top box
- Sign up for Premier+ through the StarHub website or StarHub app. Non-customers can buy the standalone plan.
- Download the StarHub TV+ app on your phone, tablet or supported smart TV.
- Log in with your StarHub ID.
- If you also want the PL+ features, link your StarHub account in the PL+ app instead of paying for a second subscription.
One thing to watch: if you cancel the eligible StarHub service that gave you the discounted price, StarHub’s terms say your Premier+ price can revert to the standard rate.
How to Watch Premier League on Different Devices
Both services work on phones, laptops and TVs, with one big exception: the PL+ 24-hour pass is limited to phones and laptops.
| Device | StarHub Premier+ | PL+ Monthly or Annual | PL+ 24-Hour Pass |
| Smart TV / connected TV | Yes (StarHub TV+ app or box) | Yes | No |
| Phone and tablet (iOS, Android) | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Laptop and desktop browser | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| 4K | Selected matches, compatible devices | Selected matches, compatible devices | Not Stated |
Smart TVs and Streaming Devices
This is the best way to watch a full match. PL+ streams every match in 1080p Full HD, with selected fixtures in 4K on compatible TVs. StarHub viewers can use the StarHub TV+ app on a supported smart TV or the StarHub set-top box. If your TV is older, check the provider’s supported-device list before paying for an annual pass.
Mobile Phones and Tablets
Good for watching on the move or catching a late kick-off in bed. On mobile data, a full 90-minute match in HD can use several gigabytes, so switch to Wi-Fi if your plan has a data cap.
Laptops and Desktop Computers
Both services play in a web browser, so there’s nothing to install. This is also where the 24-hour pass is most useful: buy it on matchday, watch on your laptop, and you’re done.
Internet speed: As a general streaming guide, plan for at least 5 to 10 Mbps for Full HD and around 25 Mbps for 4K. Most Singapore fibre plans are far faster than this, so buffering usually comes from weak Wi-Fi rather than your plan. If a stream stutters, move the router closer or use a wired connection for your TV.
Before you share a login with family, check how many devices can stream at the same time on your plan. Limits differ by service and are set out in each provider’s terms.
Can You Watch Premier League for Free in Singapore?
Not live, not legally. Every live Premier League match in Singapore sits behind a StarHub or PL+ subscription. What you can get for free is limited:
- Official highlights. Short clips and match highlights appear on the Premier League’s official channels and broadcaster social accounts after full time. Availability varies by match and region.
- Promotions. StarHub sometimes bundles Premier+ with other services or offers early-bird pricing. These are discounts rather than free access, so read the terms on how long the price lasts.
Why to avoid illegal streams
Free streaming sites are the main alternative people try, and they carry real costs:
- Security risk. Pop-ups and fake “play” buttons are a common route for malware and phishing.
- Poor reliability. Streams cut out, lag behind the live action by minutes, and get taken down mid-match.
- Legal risk. Singapore law prohibits selling illicit streaming devices, and rights holders regularly get pirate sites blocked.
If price is the issue, a $16 PL+ day pass for the one match you care about is often cheaper than people expect.
What Time Are Premier League Matches in Singapore?
Most Premier League matches kick off between 7.30pm and 4am Singapore time. Singapore stays on UTC+8 all year, but the UK changes its clocks twice a season, so the gap moves between 7 and 8 hours.
- British Summer Time (BST): until 25 October 2026, and again from 28 March 2027. Singapore is 7 hours ahead.
- Greenwich Mean Time (GMT): from 25 October 2026 to 28 March 2027. Singapore is 8 hours ahead.
| UK Kick-Off | Singapore Time (BST Period) | Singapore Time (GMT Period) |
| 12.30pm Saturday | 7.30pm Saturday | 8.30pm Saturday |
| 3pm Saturday | 10pm Saturday | 11pm Saturday |
| 5.30pm Saturday | 12.30am Sunday | 1.30am Sunday |
| 4.30pm Sunday | 11.30pm Sunday | 12.30am Monday |
| 8pm weekday or Monday | 3am next day | 4am next day |
Three things that catch Singapore fans out:
- The date changes after midnight. A Saturday 5.30pm UK match is an early Sunday morning match here. When a fixture list shows “Saturday”, check whether that means Saturday night or Sunday morning in Singapore.
- Late October shifts everything by an hour. From 25 October 2026, the classic 3pm Saturday kick-off moves from 10pm to 11pm in Singapore.
- Monday night games are Tuesday morning games. An 8pm Monday kick-off in winter starts at 4am on Tuesday here. Replays on PL+ and StarHub let you watch it before work instead.
The PL+ app and the official Premier League site can show fixtures in your local time, which saves doing the maths yourself. View the Latest Premier League Fixtures
Does a Premier League Subscription Include Other Football Competitions?
Partly. PL+ includes the Emirates FA Cup and the Community Shield as well as the league, but neither PL+ nor StarHub Premier+ includes the Champions League.
| Competition | Where to watch in Singapore (2026/27) | Included with Premier+ or PL+? |
| Premier League | StarHub Premier+, PL+ | Yes |
| Emirates FA Cup | PL+ (and via the PL+ access included with Premier+) | Yes |
| Community Shield | PL+ | Yes |
| UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League | beIN Sports (beIN Sports Connect), also through StarHub Sports+ | No |
So a fan who follows Arsenal or Liverpool in both the league and Europe needs two subscriptions: Premier+ or PL+ for domestic matches, plus a beIN Sports or Sports+ plan for European nights. StarHub’s UltraSports bundle exists for exactly this case.

How to Choose the Right Premier League Viewing Plan
Start with two questions: do you already pay StarHub for anything, and how many match days will you actually watch? Those two answers settle most cases.
| If You Are … | Consider | Why |
| An occasional viewer who watches the big games on a phone or laptop | PL+ 24-hour pass ($16) | No commitment, and two match days a month (S$32) still cost less than a PL+ monthly pass |
| A regular supporter with StarHub mobile or broadband | StarHub Premier+ Annual Pass ($238) | The lowest full-season price, with PL+ features included |
| A regular supporter with no StarHub service | StarHub annual for non-customers ($380) or PL+ annual ($399) | Similar prices; pick the platform whose app and TV support suit your home |
| A multi-sport fan who also wants the Champions League | StarHub UltraSports bundle ($91/month) or Premier+ plus a beIN Sports plan | Premier League rights alone won’t cover European football |
| Someone who wants to avoid long contracts | PL+ monthly ($44) or StarHub Premier+ monthly | Cancel when the season ends or your team’s form dips |
A quick example: Wei Ming supports Manchester United, watches about three matches a month on the living room TV, and already has a StarHub SIM. The 24-hour pass is out because it doesn’t work on TVs. PL+ monthly would cost around $440 for the season. The StarHub annual pass costs $238 and covers every match, so it’s the clear choice.
